Liquid latex
You can do fun things with liquid latex! Use it as anti-slip for socks, or use it as body paint and much more. This liquid latex vulcanizes itself at room temperature and forms a strong and elastic rubber.
Supplies:
● Liquid latex
● Disposable brush or soft spatula.
● Hair dryer to speed up drying.
Preparation:
● Depilate the skin beforehand.
● If you want to apply liquid latex to the face, be careful around the eyes, mouth and ears.
● Make sure you work in a ventilated area.
● Protect surrounding areas such as furniture and carpet from spills or splashes.
● It goes without saying that you are not allergic to liquid latex and/or ammonia.
Applying latex:
Spread the liquid latex in a thin layer on the skin. For example, use a brush, a soft spatula or use your hands. The drying process can be accelerated using a hairdryer. Once the layer is dry, the next layer can be applied. Apply as many layers until the desired thickness is achieved.
Removing latex:
After the latex has hardened, it easily detaches from the skin. If collection is more difficult than expected, use lukewarm water and soap. Please note... do not flush the latex down the drain... even if it is dry! The drain will become clogged beyond repair.
