This latex resembles the mesh latex, but there are much fewer lines in a sheet.
You can choose a maximum of 2 colors. The colors can run together and other colors can be created at the intersections.
If you type 'blue' or 'as in the photo', unfortunately that doesn't tell us anything at all. There are thousands of shades of blue. And photos on a screen are always different from reality. That is why we work with the RAL color code system. You can enter the color number followed by the name of the color. We can then approach 90-99%. The lighter the color, the less the match is. That's because latex is naturally beige. So that will always influence the end result. For example, do you choose light blue? Then it may turn out a little greener. Because light blue + beige = green blue. Etc. You can only choose the standard colors, so no metallics, etc.
And light colors on dark colors have a different effect than dark colors on light colors. That's because the background will show through the spots. So yellow spots on a black background are not bright yellow but dark yellow/brown. Light blue spots on black are dark blue. White on black is gray etc.
Glitters are microplastics and it has been prohibited to use them since October 2023. That is why we can no longer make glitter latex.
Colors on a screen always deviate from reality. So you can possibly buy a RAL color chart yourself (EBay, Amazon, etc.) or you can visit a paint store where the color charts are usually always available for inspection. There are also online apps, but again... they will differ.
General important information regarding all our handmade latex!
The photos are (usually) details of various parts of the sheet.
Also watch the video (if available) of the latex, then you will see the latex move.
Also please read the page 'IMPORTANT' before buying our latex
Colors
The colors of the latex shown may be different from what you see or experience. Because every screen (phone, television, tablet, computer, etc.) will display the colors differently. This is not only the case with latex, but with all materials.
All our latex is 100% handmade.
This sheet is also completely handmade from liquid latex by ourselves in our own studio in the Netherlands. So you can also see and feel that the latex is handmade. There are imperfections, the surface on the front/back can be uneven, the latex differs in thickness in a sheet, there can be air bubbles or small holes and so on. That's just part of handmade latex.
There are no latex printers.
Because we use special inks, the images always stay on!
Glitter
Glitter is 'things' and does not stretch. That is why glitter latex is weaker than regular latex without glitter. We do not recommend making tight clothing from glitter latex.
Are you going to make something from this latex for your customers or friends?
Then emphasize that making latex sheets is a craft, that it is 100% handmade. Because many consumers really think that latex printers exist and that we put a piece of latex in them and that we press a button and that printed latex comes out of a machine. Unfortunately... if only that were true... then everyone would have a printer at home, right?
Price
And because it is handmade latex, it takes a lot of time, and is therefore more expensive than the standard latex (without images and motifs) that is made by machines and of which a few meters per minute roll out of the machine... The price also depends on how many colors are used in a sheet. With many designs, a layer of colors must first dry before the next color is applied. That also takes time. And the thicker a sheet, the more latex needs to be used and the longer it takes to dry. Etc.
Credits
It is greatly appreciated if you mention LatexRepair in the credits of a photo on your social media or in your webshop etc. Because the photo is 99% about the clothing with our latex. Some customers indicate that they do not want that because they are afraid that other people will also 'discover' us, so that they are no longer special. But it really works the other way around.
Not everyone can or wants to make latex clothing themselves. So when they see a nice latex sheet in our shop or via our social media, it gives them ideas to have something made from it. Then they can order the latex themselves and we will send it directly to the person who will make something from it (or the maker himself orders it from us). We sell latex, you sell a new outfit to an existing or new customer, and the customer is very happy with a special outfit for the next party and he will undoubtedly spread the word and share it on social media, with the result that you will come back again afterwards. receives a new customer and/or request! So that's win-win-win... for everyone!
