Latex with lace incorporated

If you are looking for something special, then the latex with lace made by us is just the thing for you!

What is it?

It is different from the 'ordinary' latex. Because this is latex with lace incorporated. The latex is latex but the lace is made of textile. Together we have combined this into a new material. Sometimes the lace is stretchy and sometimes not. In combination with latex nothing changes. So non-stretchable lace remains non-stretchable in combination with latex.

Just like the 'regular' latex, the sheets have a shiny side and a dull side; the lace can be felt on the dull side.

How do you make something of this new latex lace?

Lace, as you may know, is a very delicate material. It is not a material that you will make into cool jeans or a tight catsuit. This also applies to latex with lace. Latex does not reinforce the lace, it remains lace and therefore retains its own properties.

If the lace is slightly stretchy, then the latex is also slightly stretchy, so you can also use it to make clothes that require a little bit of stretch.
But if the lace isn't stretchy, then the latex isn't stretchy either, so you can't make stretchy clothing out of it, such as leggings, catsuits, and other tight clothing. But, for example, a circle skirt (with a closure, so no slip-on model!) is possible, because it is not pulled, it hangs.

You can glue and sew the latex lace

You can glue it with latex glue, and you can sew it with a sewing machine. If you are going to sew it, it is wise to sew an extra reinforcement in it (eg a strip of twill tape or other textile tape). But that depends on the application; what are you going to make of it? If you are going to turn it into a real bag, reinforcement is definitely recommended. But for a collar that is not necessary.

Tips!

- Make some small tests first, so that you can determine for yourself whether this new material is suitable for your project.
- Use the smooth side on the outside if you are making it for a fetish party with a strict door policy.
- You can simply wash the latex side like 'regular' latex. We do not recommend washing it in the washing machine because it moves and wrinkles too much. Simply in a bucket with ViviClean and then ViviShine and hanging is the best.
- Think about something other than clothes... how about a lampshade?
