This handy buttonhole divider is multifunctional. It not only ensures a neat distribution of buttonholes, but also for buttons, closures, nesting rings, studs and pleats, for example. The button divider is constructed like an accordion and you can indicate the distance between two points yourself by sliding the divider further closed or open. The smallest distance, with the divider fully closed, is 1 cm and the largest distance, with the divider fully opened, is 8.7 cm. The holes in the divider make it easy to draw the measured points on the fabric with a marking pen or chalk pencil. With this divider you can make a division for a maximum of 8 points. The button divider is made of aluminum.
Mark where the top button (or nest or stud, etc.) should go and where the bottom one should go. Then stretch the divider apart between these two points. You can then quickly mark the other points. Always measure the distances between the points to be sure, because sometimes it can be slightly different.
