Latex haute couture, does that exist?
Very simple ... no! We always have to laugh a little when a latex designer calls himself a latex haute couturier. Because there aren't any! .
Why not?
Haute couture is literally 'higher sewing art'. And you probably understand that most latex clothing is stuck. And the technology is certainly not 'haut', because it is two edges of latex sticking together. And everyone does the same way, beginners and advanced latex adhesive, home workers or latex designers, all latex brands.
In France, only a small group of fashion designers can call themselves haute couturier. For this, the designer in question must be appointed by the Chambre Syndicale de La Couture. It only awards the haute couturier title if the designer meets the following conditions:
● Clothing must be made in own workshops.
● At least twelve people must work in the workshops.
● Their collection must be presented on the catwalk twice a year, with at least 50 different, new items of clothing per model.
● There must be a special area where clothing can be shown to regular customers.

So ... there is no such thing as latex haute couture and so don't be fooled by expensive brands that pretend to be or deliver. No matter how cheap or how expensive latex clothing is ... the technique is the same, nothing 'haute' about it.
