Datex
What exactly is that... datex?
Datex has actually been around for a long time. But a few years ago, several parties revived the material. Datex is a material that consists of two layers:
- The colored layer of 100% latex, so it also feels like latex
- The back is black or white, and made of a very stretchy soft textile consisting of 10% elastic synthetic fiber elastane and 90% polyester
- The datex stretches, just like latex, in all directions
- If you trim or trim it will not fray like fabric, but you will need to create a hem for the finish
As with latex, the thinner the smoother the datex falls and the thicker the stiffer. Datex is stronger than latex because the back is made of textile. For a nice fit we recommend datex in a thickness of 0.45 mm. at. This thickness is also very nice to process with the sewing machine, even if it is several layers.
After receiving your order you will receive additional information from us by email regarding the processing of datex.
Just like latex, datex is cut to size for you and because it is also a natural product, the datex cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances. Colors on screens can always differ from the product.
