Our advice ... do not make a 'ruler' of wood yourself, for example ... because it is not 100% straight ... due to moisture and temperature, the wood will work and therefore always changes its shape and more importantly ... the roller blade is super sharp, so with wrong movements you have a chance of damaging the side of a wooden ruler, and then straight is no longer straight.
